I’m partnered with The lactation network
-
The Lactation Network (TLN), is an organization that helps you get your lactation services covered by your insurance. They handle the paperwork and bill your insurance directly. If pre-approved for coverage by TLN, you pay me nothing.
-
TLN will let you know in 1-2 days about your lactation coverage. You may still schedule an appointment while you are waiting for confirmation. Once they’ve confirmed coverage, The Lactation Network guarantees every patient an initial in-home lactation consultation and up to 6 follow-up visits with me with no out-of-pocket cost for you!
-
Most Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, and VA CCN (Veterans Affairs Community Care Network) plans, United HealthCare HMO & PPO plans, as well as most plans that utilize MultiPlan and PNOA.
-
These are providers(me) that do not have a contract with your insurance company. If you receive covered services from an out- of-network provider, the insurance company may pay only a part or none of the charges depending upon the terms of your policy.
-
Please contact your insurance provider for specifics.
-Aetna: most plans cover up to six (6) lactation visits with me.
-Regence & Premera: only cover lactation care if it is billed by a licensed healthcare provider (i.e. a doctor/nurse).
-Apple Health, Molina, or Community Plan: do not cover out-of-network providers.
-
After our visit I will email you a superbill (an itemized list of services provided to you) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
